to shine the light of God’s truth and love for
all people to see. (based on Acts 11)

Spirituality and a passion for justice. (based on
Micah 6:8)
We are called into ministry
through baptism and fed in worship by
scripture, music and open communion. By
faith, and with God’s help, we search for ways
to care for and serve the needs of our church,
our community, and our world.
We are committed to serving the youth, recognizing them as the future of the church. We affirm that youth are children of God. Youth Sunday service is held on the 5th Sunday of then month. We are developing a Sunday School program that focuses on God the Father, Jesus as Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit, which serves as a foundational aspect of our ministry. Additionally, we provide bilingual services.
Meet our Senior Minister, Reverend Kenia Vanessa Mendoza, who has led Springfield Christian Church since December 2022. Under her leadership, the church has expanded its mission and service to the community, offering ministry in both English and Spanish.
Meet our Associate Pastor Juan Carlos Rodriguez. He has been a pastor with Springfield Christian Church since 2012, leading the Latino service and ministry. His experience, service, and dedication to SCC and the community are a testimony to God.
Springfield Christian Church is congregationalist and functions through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and its faithful board members and functional department leaders.
